For a good stay, look at the promenade. It has a very nice sea view. Many guesthouses and hotels are there. The town centre is also a good choice. This is very convenient for shops and eating places. Both areas are near to the castle and the pier. The seafront is very lovely for walking in the evening. I think both are very good options for you to choose from.
