60% of the maingame in USUM is more or less the same as SM. But there are a lot of new features. There are new places to visit like Pikachu Valley, the interior of the Tide Song Hotel, Ultra Megapolis and the surfing beaches on each of the 4 islands. A new minigame called Mantine Surf was added.
