Do you think opposites really attract in relationships, or is similarity more important?

Honestly, opposites attract in the beginning because it feels exciting. But long-term, similarity matters more. Shared values, lifestyle choices, and goals create stability. Differences can add spice, but too many can cause constant conflict.

In my case, I married my opposite. I’m quiet, she’s loud. I love books, she loves parties. But we balance each other. Opposites can work if there is mutual respect and if both people enjoy learning from each other instead of trying to change each other.
