Does joining too many affiliate marketing networks help or hurt your strategy?

In my opinion, joining many networks is useful only when you have a big site with multiple niches. Otherwise, you end up promoting everything and selling nothing.

It hurts in the beginning because you get distracted. Better to focus on 1–2 networks, master them, and then expand. Too many links confuse your audience too.
