How do affiliates handle refunds and chargebacks?

Refunds are handled by the merchant, not the affiliate. If a customer returns a product, your commission is reversed. It’s normal in affiliate marketing. You can’t control it fully, but promoting quality products reduces refund rates.

I had a case where 30% of my sales got refunded. It hurt. Since then, I always test products or choose programs with low refund rates. High refunds = wasted effort. Pick carefully.
