How to change aadhar card name in online?

You can update your name online through the myAadhaar portal. First, log in using your Aadhaar number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile. Once inside, find the 'Update Aadhaar Online' service. Select 'Name' as the detail you wish to change.

Here is the crucial step. You must upload a clear, scanned copy of a valid proof of identity document. This document must have your correct name. A passport, PAN card, or marriage certificate works perfectly for this.

There is a nominal fee of ₹50 for the service. After payment, you will get a Service Request Number (SRN). You can use this SRN to track the status of your request. Once approved, you can download the updated e-Aadhaar.
