🔗 Connecting MCP Server to Claude Desktop

  1. Ensure MCP server is running and accessible on the network.
  2. Note the server IP address and port.
  3. Open Claude Desktop Client → go to Settings → Server Connection.
  4. Enter the IP and port, then click Connect.
  5. Authenticate with your username/password if required.

Tip: Make sure firewalls allow traffic on the MCP server port. Check your network settings if you can’t connect.
