Very easy! Just follow: 1. Take a standard HDMI cable. 2. Plug one end into your laptop’s HDMI port. 3. Plug the other into your monitor. 4. On your laptop, press Windows + P → choose “Duplicate” or “Extend”. Done. That’s it.

Be careful: not all laptops have HDMI output. Some have HDMI-in. Make sure yours supports external display. Then just connect the cable and configure display settings. Works well for gaming and productivity.

I use a MacBook, and here it’s slightly different. If your laptop has only USB-C, you’ll need a USB-C to HDMI adapter. After connecting, go to System Preferences → Displays and select the arrangement. Simple process.

Tip: If your monitor is not showing anything, try changing Input Source on the monitor’s menu. Sometimes it stays on VGA or DP and doesn’t detect HDMI.
