How to deactivate nj transit ticket online?

Unfortunately, once you activate an NJ Transit mobile ticket in the app, it can’t be deactivated or refunded. The app clearly warns before activation. If you haven’t activated yet, you can just leave it in “My Tickets” until expiry. Only unused, unactivated tickets are eligible for refund through the app or customer service.
