How to find isotope with protons and neutrons?

To find the number of neutrons in an isotope, find the mass number of the isotope and the atomic number. The atomic number, or number of protons, is found on the Periodic Table. The atomic mass, also found on the Periodic Table, is the weighted average of all the isotopes of the element.
