How to get my ex off my netflix?
Users will be able to view all of the devices linked to their accounts and have the option to sign out of specific ones. The streaming service suggests it will be particularly useful for those travelling over the festive period to keep track of where your account was, or is, being used.
On Tuesday (November 15), the 'Managing Access and Devices' tool was implemented into the platform, which users can find in Account Settings. It will give an easy view of recent devices that have streamed from their account.
Previously, the way to remove moochers from a Netflix account was to sign out of all devices and change the password.
"This much-requested feature to help members manage their account security is now available to all members around the world on the web, iOS and Android," Netflix explained.

The new feature comes as no surprise after Netflix's mission to prompt freeloaders to create their own accounts and discourage away from sharing.
Earlier this year, the platform tested out a paid feature to cut down on password sharing.
In a blog post at the time, they said that account sharing between households is "impacting our ability to invest in great new TV and films for our members".
"So for the last year we’ve been working on ways to enable members who share outside their household to do so easily and securely, while also paying a bit more," Chengyi Long, the company’s director of product innovation, continued.
Sharing account details with those who you do not live with is not allowed under Netflix’s Terms of Use, but that hasn’t stopped users from allowing friends and family members to access accounts with their logins.
Clause 4.2 of their terms said: “The Netflix service and any content accessed through the service are for your personal and non-commercial use only and may not be shared with individuals beyond your household.”

Netflix is easy to share. Maybe your ex still has your password, or perhaps you signed into Netflix on a TV at an Airbnb and everyone who stays there now streams on your account. Here’s how to stop people from using your Netflix account.
Each Netflix account also lets a limited number of people stream at the same time (two for a standard HD plan or four for a premium 4K UHD plan.) Kicking other people out of your account will prevent other people from filling those streaming slots when you want to watch something.
In some cases, account sharing may even lead to Netflix temporarily locking your account—Netflix doesn’t like to see people sharing an account from all over the place, as account sharing is officially intended for households who lived together. (Netflix won’t suspend your account with a text message, however—that’s a scam.)
If you want to get all these devices off your account, there’s a quick way to do it. First, head to Netflix’s account settings page by pointing to your profile icon at the top-right corner of the web page and clicking “Account.”
Click “Sign out of all devices” to the right of Settings.
Click the “Sign Out” button to have Netflix automatically sign out all the devices signed into your Netflix account. As the website points out, this may take up to eight hours.
This will forcibly log out all the devices you can see on the Recent device streaming activity page. So, if you once signed into Netflix on a TV at an Airbnb, that TV will no longer be signed into your Netflix account. If you haven’t actually shared your password with anyone, you’re done.
If you want to see which devices will be signed out, you can see the most recent devices and locations that have used your account by visiting the Recent device streaming activity page on Netflix’s website.
From Netflix’s website, you can access this page by heading to the Account settings page and then clicking “Recent device streaming activity,” which is located right above the “Sign out of all devices” option.
You’ll see a list of devices, locations, and IP addresses that have used your account recently along with the dates they were last used.
If someone has your Netflix password, however, they’ll still be able to sign back in after you boot all those signed-in devices out of the account. There’s only one way to fix this: Change your Netflix password.
To do this, head to Netflix’s account settings page (profile menu > Account) and click “Change Password” to the right of Membership & Billing.
Enter your current password and a new password here.
Be sure to check “Require all devices to sign in again with new password” if you want to kick all currently logged-in devices off your Netflix account.
After you do this, you’ll have to sign in to Netflix on all your devices again—assuming you clicked that checkbox. However, anyone else using your Netflix account will have to sign back in, too. And they won’t be able to do so unless you tell them your password.
Ultimately, kicking people off your Netflix account is like kicking people off your Wi-Fi—if those people know your password, the only way to ensure they stay out is to change the password and lock them out.

If that person has their profile on your account, you can transfer it to their new account and delete it from yours. However, if they don't have a profile or simply use your login information to keep watching Netflix without paying, you can kick them off using a new feature in your account settings.
Log Them Out Of Your Netflix Account On A Specific Device
This week, Netflix announced it had launched a new feature in Account Settings called Managing Access and Devices. The purpose of this tool, the company says, is to log yourself out of devices you may have used while traveling, staying in hotels or visiting family and friends. However, it can also be used to boot an unauthorized user from your Netflix account.
To access this feature, sign in to Netflix in a browser on a computer, phone or tablet and select your profile. Then, hover over the downward-facing arrow icon in the upper-right corner and choose Account. Finally, go to the Security & Privacy section on your Account page and choose Manage access and devices. It may have a blue New box on the left side of the text.
You can see all active logins on your Netflix account on this page. Each will display the user, device, date and time and a relative location. Choose Sign Out on any login you want to kick off, and Netflix will remove its access.
Change Your Password
Signing out of a session will stop that device from accessing your Netflix account. However, if the person using it knows your login information, they can sign right back in. In this case, you'll still need to change your password.
