Revised board exam guidelines issued by CBSE on class 10 and 12th board examinations. Students with a compartment can now appear for a re-examination in the same year. Have a look at the revised guidelines of CBSE on improvement exams 2022:

After successfully performing the test, the CBSE Improvement Exam results will be announced in the month of September or October 2022. Students who take the improvement test will receive simply a fresh mark sheet, not a new passing certificate.

You can repeat it if there are not more than 2 or 3 years of gap between 10th and 12th . If there is more gap then you need to give the 10th exam also and then you can appear in the 12th exams. Yes, you Can give your 12th board exams again there is something called Improvement Exam in CBSE.
