How to import roster ncaa 14?
This summer many NCAA football enthusiasts will prefer to customize their games by changing the names of the players on their favorite?teams. Most people do not know that you can download complete free rosters files which name every single player for all 120 Division 1-A teams. However, there's the common newbie player dilemma of not knowing how to download the NCAA rosters to their PS3 systems. And more importantly where are these rosters available for download.?
Rosters are available for download for free from many gaming community sites. In fact, this year NCAAstrategies.com will release rosters for the PS3 gaming community. If you have access to playing your NCAA Football 09?game?via the PlayStation Network you can download the rosters?with the new EA Locker feature. If you don't have access to the PlayStation Network don't fret here's how you can download the NCAA rosters for your PS3.
a. On your flash drive, create a folder for your PS3 to facilitate the transfer from your computer to the flash drive.
b. Download the SAVEDATA.zip file to your computer. After downloading it, extract the file to your desktop using WINRAR.
c. Now insert your USB storage device into your computer's slot.
d. Open the USB storage device. It should display a window on your computer.
e. You create a new folder on your USB storage device and name the folder PS3. It's important to name it PS3 so that your PS3 system will recognize the roster folder
f. Find the SAVEDATA file extracted from SAVEDATA.zip.
g. To save the file on the USB storage device, you can drag the SAVEDATA folder or copy and paste SAVEDATA folder into the PS3 folder located in the USB storage device.
h. To load it to your PS3 system, without putting the game in the system, start PS3. Sign in only with the username you dedicated to the roster file.
i. Plug in the USB device into the USB slot of the PS3.
j. Go to PS3 menu to get to the "Game" section.
k. Scroll down to "Saved Data Utility, then click "x".
l. Pick "USB Device", then press "x".
m. Pick "NCAA Football 09" or any NCAA Football game version. Click "triangle" then "copy".
n. The file will be copied to the hard drive of the PS3 system.
Just insert NCAA 09 or any version and?you're ready to play with your newly-acquired rosters!
Some users here know that you can update all the rosters, coaches, and schemes in NCAA Football 2014 for the 360/PS3 to reflect the upcoming 2020 season...and if you didn't, now you do! The users at Operation Sports have been keeping the game alive and running since EA axed the franchise after 2013. This can be a lot of fun in the offseason...and especially in an offseason where the actual season is in jeopardy, and the whole world is in quarantine.
These new rosters apply to Dynasty Mode so you can play through (or simulate) a full NCAA FBS season on your Xbox 360 or PS3. This is what the Youtube channel SG1 Sports has been doing for a few years now (example: #1 Ohio State vs #2 Alabama matchup), and also what CFB plans to do this coming Saturday.
You'll need an Xbox 360 or PS3 and a copy of the game. For the first method, you'll also need a network subscription (Xbox Live or PSN). For the second method, you'll need a PC and USB drive. There are two primary methods that you can go about this:
The first is pretty easy - sign onto Xbox Live or PS Network, launch the game, open "Roster Sharing", and find the gamer tags listed here, then just download their roster. (Note: The gamer tags change from time to time). It's pretty straightforward.
The other method doesn't require a network subscription, but is a little bit more involved. The forums have guides and FAQs that can be a little vague at times, because they're trying to cover both consoles, multiple versions of the game, multiple versions of software, multiple operating systems, etc etc.
After a bunch of trial-and-error, I wrote the following guide for absolute beginner noobs like I me. This guide applies to using a Windows PC and Xbox 360, where a 360-specific app is used, but I linked a PS3 tutorial video below that may help you out.
