How to increase upi limit in axis bank?

One workaround: Use IMPS or NEFT for higher transfers. UPI is designed for small-to-medium transactions, not very large ones.

You can't really change the main limit. The bank sets it at ₹1 lakh for one day. This is the top amount allowed. You should check your settings in the Axis mobile app, under UPI. Sometimes you can set a smaller limit yourself, so maybe you can change that back up.

However, you can bypass by linking multiple accounts. Example: If you have two Axis accounts, each has its own ₹1 lakh UPI limit.

I tried contacting customer care. They said limit cannot be increased beyond RBI guidelines. Only merchants may get higher limits.

Currently, Axis Bank allows ₹1 lakh per day via UPI. To increase:- Use Axis Mobile app → UPI settings. - Request higher limit if available. But RBI caps limit, so banks can’t exceed 1 lakh daily for individuals.
