Another way to link a phone number with a bank account online is through your bank’s ATM. This process is straightforward and takes only a couple of minutes. Simply follow these steps.

Like with internet banking, the bank will establish the mobile number link to the bank account within 24-48 hours and send you a confirmation notification once the process is completed.

If you wish to change the existing mobile number linked to your bank account, here is how you can do so.

The procedure to update the mobile number is more or less similar to the one you follow to link your account. The only difference is that you have to select the “update/change” option instead of the “link mobile number” option. You need to enter the current mobile number in the designated tab and confirm it (re-enter as prompted by the system). You will receive an OTP on it, which you must enter into the system and confirm. • Visit the closest SBI ATM.
• Choose the Register option from the available options.
