That's a fun question, for sure. Actually, a plane can't fly forever. Gravity always pulls it down, and the air slows it down too.
But there is a pretty cool trick to make it seem like it does. You need rising air, called an 'updraft'. If you can find a spot where warm air is moving up faster than your plane is falling, it will stay up! You can sometimes find this on a sunny day over a dark parking lot. Or you can make an updraft with a big fan pointing at the ceiling. A well-made plane can ride this rising air for a very long time. Up here in Canada, a windy day by a big hill can work too. Good luck
