How to make optimus prime with cardboard?

I once made a cardboard Optimus Prime for a school event. Start by sketching the body parts—chest, arms, legs—on thick cardboard. Use hot glue to assemble. Paint red and blue, add silver foil for metallic look. For the head, a shoebox works well if you cut it into shape. It won’t transform like in the movies, but it’ll look pretty awesome.

Tip: Don’t overcomplicate it. Make a basic robot frame with rectangular boxes first, then decorate with colored paper. My nephew’s looked really convincing even without fancy details. YouTube has some DIY tutorials that make it easier if you’re a visual learner.
