Make sure you are holding the bottle so the flat spot is on the bottom, with one hand hold (firmly) on to the bottom 1/4 section (you should see a line, hold under that), with the other hand grasp the top part & pull straight up. It's a splash, so be wary of, splashing, lol when you get the top off.
