How to see kd in mw2?

Answer # 1 #

This guide explains if and when you can check your KD ratio in Modern Warfare 2 and maybe even show it off.

At the time of writing, there is no way to check your overall KD ratio in Modern Warfare 2. Players can, however, check their kills/deaths for a match after it ends via the scoreboard. On PC, you can press TAB to view the scoreboard. However, it doesn't show the exact ratio, but instead just shows the number of kills and deaths in a match.

A player's KD ratio has always been one of the main ways to flex. It is arguably much more of a show of skill to have a good KD ratio in any COD, including MW2. Unfortunately, the Barracks feature is not yet available in Modern Warfare 2.

The good news is there might be a way to check your MW2 Kill/Death ratio soon.

It is expected that with the release of Modern Warfare 2 Season 1, the developers will release leaderboards, which means you will be able to check your KD ratio, hopefully.

Further, third-party tracker CODTracker.gg has announced that Modern Warfare 2 stats are "coming soon," and players are urged to enter their email so they get notified as soon as this functionality becomes available.

The announcement reads: "We're working hard to bring you the very best data-driven guidance for Modern Warfare 2 Stats. COD Modern Warfare 2 Tracker will provide news on the latest developments in the Modern Warfare 2 world, as well as provide you with data-driven insights into how you can play better. Or maybe you just want to see how you measure up against the best in the world. Whatever your motivations, we've got you covered… soon."

So there you have everything we know so far about how to check KD in MW2. We will endeavor to update this article as soon as more information becomes available for our Call of Duty fans.

Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) has been out for a few months now, with millions blasting their way through the plethora of in-game modes and more in pursuit of those amazing Mastery Camos.

Of course, you’ll want to know exactly how well you’re doing during firefights, and you can find that out by checking you KD ratio or Kill-to-Death ratio.

KD ratio relates to how often you die compared to how many enemies you kill. A great KD ratio is around 2:00 – meaning you have downed twice as many enemies as you have been killed. For most causal players, aim for a KD of around 1:00.

Anything less than that and you have had a difficult match, and you may want to make the most out of our loadout guides (check out this Tempus Torrent one for size)!

One way to check your KD in Modern Warfare 2 is at the end of the match – or by pressing the touchpad on PlayStation, Tab on PC, or the menu button on Xbox while you’re in a game.

Note, this just relates to your KD in that particular match, not your overall combat record.

However, to check your overall KD, players need to complete the following steps down below:

Once you select the ‘Stats’ page, it will load up your KD ratio that you have mustered so far in MW2. A whole lot of updates have transpired with the arrival of Season 1. So be sure to check back here for any updates or news on MW2.

What is a good KD in MW2?

Anything above 1.00 is considered good. But ideally you want to be shooting for around 2:00.

Is there Barracks in MW2?

Not that we can see at the moment, but it’s likely this will be added in a Modern Warfare 2 update.

Modern Warfare 2 is back in its original glory with a bit of modification for the good, and every gamer in the world is having a swing at it. When a player plays the game, they would want to know exactly how well the player is doing during firefights, and the player can find that out by checking their KD ratio, short for Kill-to-Death ratio. It is one of the best ways to monitor the player's progression in Call of Duty and also make a statistical claim on who is best among the player's gamer group. In the gaming world, the K/D ratio is the stat you must want to watch, which helps you to track how many kills to deaths you have achieved across all multiplayer games.

When the player has a positive K/D, the player is doing something right in terms of gameplay. If it's on the negative side, maybe the player has to try unlocking some of the better Modern Warfare 2 load-outs. KD ratio makes a relation between how often the player dies compared to how many enemies they kill. A good KD ratio average is around 2:00 implying that the player has taken down twice as many enemies as they have been killed. Most casual players have and maintain a KD of around 1:00.

Any player can check their KD based on the platform they are playing on. At the end of the match they can press the touchpad on PlayStation, click Tab on PC or select the menu button on Xbox.

When you look for KD at the end of the match, that denotes your KD in that particular match, not your overall combat record.

To check your overall KD, players need to complete the following steps down below:

A. Anything above 1.00 is considered decent, but ideally, you want to be shooting for around 2:00.

A. Not that we can see at the moment, but it’s highly likely this will be added in a Modern Warfare 2 update very soon.

A. You can't see your overall KD or other stats because there is no Barracks or Combat Record feature currently in MW2.
