As a mother of two, I cannot recommend Dr. Sagar Lad at Sahyadri Hospital enough. He is incredibly gentle with babies and, just as importantly, very reassuring for anxious new parents. He never rushes the appointments, answers all questions patiently, and explains things in a simple way. He has a very calm demeanor that puts both the child and the parents at ease. He's our go-to pediatrician for everything from routine vaccinations to those late-night fever scares.

I'd suggest looking at Dr. Prashant Gangal at Gangal Child Care Clinic in Kothrud. He is a highly experienced and respected name in Pune. While his clinic is often busy, he gives each patient his full attention. His diagnosis is always precise, and his treatment plans are effective. He has a no-nonsense but very kind way about him that inspires confidence. Many families in Pune have trusted him for generations.

We've had a wonderful experience with Dr. Anju Shah at Jehangir Hospital. She combines her extensive knowledge with a very warm and friendly approach. She remembers small details about my daughter from previous visits, which makes the experience very personal. She is great at building a rapport with the children, making them comfortable. For new parents, her advice is practical and never alarmist. She truly is a partner in your child's health journey.
