Honestly, I still like the older Punch design. It was simple and tough looking, not over-styled. Sometimes too many changes make the car look like it is trying too hard. So for me, the original Punch design is still my favorite, but facelift is okay for people who want freshness.

The facelift design is definitely better in my opinion. Tata is aligning all cars with a common SUV family look, like Harrier and Safari. This makes the Punch feel like part of the bigger SUV family, which is a good thing. So yes, facelift wins for me.

I prefer the Punch EV design. The full-width LED strip and clean front make it look futuristic. The facelift looks nice but also a little busy in my opinion. So if I had to choose only by looks, I would go with Punch EV design. But if I consider price and running cost, maybe facelift petrol makes more sense.

I like the design of the Tata Punch Facelift more than the Punch EV. The facelift has more aggressive bumper design, sharper DRLs, and overall SUV look. Punch EV looks good too, but it feels a little soft because of closed grille and EV styling. For me, in petrol cars, I prefer bold and sporty design. That’s why facelift looks better.
