For one thing, the drivers for both companies are not employees.We are independent contractors.In order to drive for a rideshare company, you have to go through extensive background checks, so yes, they screen people before allowing them to be driversThey do a full criminal and motor vehicle background check on you, going back as long as 10 years.I'm sorry, but it seems obvious to me that they would screen people who apply to be drivers.
