The co-star of The Lion King is a lioness named Nala. Nala is the daughter of Sarafina and the mother of Kion.

She is a lifelong friend of Simba and his wife. She would have two children with him, a daughter and a son.

Nala is bathed by her mother Sarafina after the first dialogue with Scar in the movie. His and Mufasa's best friend, Simba, asked Sarabi and Sarafina if they could go to the lake. Nala was tricked by Scar to go with him to the Elephant Graveyard, and he wanted to go with him. They are allowed to go, but not without Zazu. The puppies are in the middle of the road.

They succeed. Nala won over Simba after the twocubs playfully wrestle.

After she lets him go, he jumps on her again and they spin as they fall off a hill, he is bested by her once more. They found out that they fell in the Elephant Graveyard. There, they are chased by Scar's three servants, who eventually rescue them.

Mufasa is killed by a wildebeest that is created by Scar.

Scar tells the cub to run away because he believes that he was the reason for Mufasa's death. The throne is taken by Scar and Simba does so. He mistreated the lionesses. Nala fled the Pride Lands to seek help.

Timon and Pumbaa try to hunt down and eat a pig, but a lion comes and fights her. Nala knocks the lion to the ground.

Nala is immediately recognized by the lion. They are happy to see each other again, and realize that love is a result of their friendship. Nala fell in love with Simba at that moment.

Nala hates him because he hid a misunderstanding that he killed his father, denied taking responsibility and returned to the Pride Lands with Nala, which causes him to hate him.

After an encounter with Rafiki and his father's spirit, Simba decided to return to his throne. Nala, Timon and Pumbaa are going to confront Scar.

When the usurper forces Simba to reveal that he (as he believes) is responsible for the death of his father, Nala doesn't understand it like the rest of the pack, but Simba quickly remembers when he was a cub and forces the villain to to tell the truth An intense battle with the hyenas begins with Nala leading the lionesses while Simba fights Scar. The villain is defeated by throwing him off a cliff, where he will be devoured by the hyenas.

The Pride Lands are restored with a new king and queen, and they are proud to watch as Rafiki presents his baby to the animal gathering at Pride Rock.

Nala has a small part in the movie. Her body structure is larger. Her character is different after becoming queen, she is more calm, gentle, and motherly, compared to the young Nala from the first film. She has a built frame.

Her eyes appear to be blue.

A daughter, Kiara, has been given to Nala and Simba. Nala tries to convince her daughter's father that her is safe, and she believes that he is paranoid.

Nala was proud to see Kiara being introduced to the animals by Rafiki. In the first scene, Nala tells Kiara to obey her father. She had an argument with Simba and he pulled himself on top of him to make sure she was okay. Nala's advice is ignored and Timon and Pumbaa are sent to follow Kiara despite her promise that she wouldn't. She is in the scene when Timon, Pumbaa, and two lionesses come to rescue Kiara.

Nala steps down from the line of lionesses to sit next to Simba when Kiara is a young adult. She is followed by a woman who asks her to do it herself.

Nala made him promise when she gave him a playful warning look. She makes her by talking to her.

When Kovu saved Kiara's life, she reminds him that he did it.

She is present on that night when Simba has a nightmare.

After spending time together in the meadow the next night, Kovu and Kiara find Simba on a hill desperately looking for advice from the great kings of the past. She makes him see the good in Kovu that he couldn't see because of Kovu's connection to Scar.

At the end of the battle, Nala is present and she gives instructions to help Kiara, who is in danger of falling into a river.

She returns to Pride Rock after peace is restored and roars along with her friends.

Nala has a small role in the movie. She explains to Timon and Pumbaa in the Can You Feel the Love Tonight song sequence where she is, where she is not in the film.

He has green eyes in the film instead of blue, and only makes an appearance near the second half of the film.

She is seen in the Can You Feel the Love Tonight sequence and in an extension of the scene in the original film, where she explains to Timon and Pumbaa where the king is located.

She rushed to help Simba after several failed attempts.

Nala played a small role in the film, but she was still portrayed by Moira Kelly in the English version.
