My first purchase from Purepet was from a local pet store.After our kitten loved it, we ordered it online from Purepet and it arrived on time.But the pack looked old the pack did not have any damages but it looked old we didn't take it seriously and opened it, I felt the smell was little different from the previous pack Purepet kitten food ocean fish we bought from the local store.I was not sure because it was only our second buy from this brand 'Purepet'.We started feeding our kitten this food Purepet kitten food ocean fish bought online at Amazon and he ate it well so we didn't doubt it after like a week or less than a week our kitten started vomiting at the evening around 4pm till at night 10 pm he kept vomiting, he vomited 5 times we were so nervous we didn't know what to do and this was the first time he vomited!!And next morning we took him to the hospital after checking our kitten, doctor told us that kitten might have eaten something bad or may also be any indigestion and he had 2 injections on first day and then 3 injections on the second day on the first day he didn't eat anything, we gave him food and milk but he refused to eat, he only drank water! and he was very inactive, he didn't even 'meowed' and vomitted once on day one and on day two as he had 3 injections he didn't vomit on day 2 but still was inactive and had milk and water, we gave him food and milk he only drank water and milk and refused food again on day 3 he didn't had any injections but had other medicines given by the doctor he ate curd rice and milk and drank water and he tried to move around but he was very weak that he walks 8-10 steps and lays down still inactive and it took more than a week for him to come back to normal state!Honestly we didn't know this sickness was because of this food until I read a feedback on this page and came to know that 8 cats were dead I'm sorrythat feedback is still in this feedback list please check it and read it out if you have doubtAnd then only I realised this sickness was due to this food!And I'm happy that our kitten is alive and safe now !!I don't know what's wrong with the food but the same brand which we bought from the local pet store was of good quality and caused nothing bad to our kitten he enjoyed eating it which we bought from the local pet store 'Purepet kitten food ocean fish but same brand bought from here online is of bad quality maybe very very very very old pack or maybe a duplicate or an expired product The details of the product I bought from Amazon is:Batch number : STPCK250421Pkd : 04/2021It's a life not a joke for some it maybe for money but for many it's their beloved life
