Clean the leaking section of pipe with a rag. Apply PVC primer (also called cleaner) to the pipe to ensure a good seal. Generously apply PVC cement to the damaged portion of pipe and the inside of the repair piece. Press the repair pieces over the damaged portion of pipe, secure them in place, and allow to dry.
