At some point in their life, who hasn’t dreamt of running away and living out a relaxed, surf lifestyle in Hawaii? I know I certainly have.

I’ve personally visited Hawaii on three separate occasions now (all family trips when I was growing up), and it’s simply the most idyllic destination in the USA!  I haven’t been back as an adult though, and I’ve been longing to step foot on it’s gorgeous beaches, swim with turtles in it’s bay, and take helicopter rides to marvel at it’s jaw-dropping landscape.

Hawaii is steeped in history and rich in culture ,as is it wildly beautiful. It’s many islands each have their own unique vibe, but the sense of unity across Hawaii as a whole can’t be understated.

This volcanic Pacific Ocean paradise has a year-round calendar of events. Hawaii music festivals, as well as cultural events, are a dime a dozen, each with a majestic, world-class backdrop. And I’ve broken down 17 of them to get you started.

“The Merrie Monarch Festival is a week-long cultural event held in Hilo, Hawaiʻi each spring, featuring Hawaiian culture and a premier hula competition. The Festival is a domestic non-profit organization registered with the State of Hawaiʻi Department of commerce and Consumer Affairs.

The Hawaiʻi Island Chamber of Commerce began the festival in 1963, and the private Merrie Monarch Festival community organization took on the responsibilities of running the event five years later. The central purpose of the Festival is the perpetuation, preservation, and promotion of the art of hula and the Hawaiian culture.

The highlight of the festival is a world renowned three-day hula competition featuring some of the best hālau hula (hula school) from Hawaiʻi and the continental United States. Through the celebration of the Merrie Monarch Festival, thousands of people at home in the islands and throughout the world learn about the history and culture of Hawaiʻi.

A group of former Jaycees – known as the Jaycees Old-timers of Hawai‘i – had the vision to create a public celebration to honor Hawai‘i’s heritage.

Thousands of volunteers work together each year to stage the events, which are attended by more than 100,000 people. Hawaii Food and Wine festival you can’t miss!

“The Honolulu Festival is Hawaii’s premier cultural event, promoting mutual understanding, economic cooperation and ethnic harmony between the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim region. Hosted for 39 years in the breathtaking Moanalua Gardens in order to honor Prince Lot Kapuāiwa who later reigned as King Kamehameha V and who reprised the once forbidden hula in this very district, the event first begun in 1978 by Moanalua Gardens Foundation and having grown exponentially each year since, the Prince Lot Hula Festival now attracts more than 15,000 residents and visitors each year.”

There really are so many different amazing cultural and music festivals in Hawaii, that is was quite hard to narrow down my list!  If you think I’m missing any important ones, I’d love to learn about them!  While I haven’t been to Hawaii myself in many years (I have to thank my Mom & Dad for bringing me their as a child three times though), I’ve definitely added a lot of these to my personal wishlist!

To put it simply, cyan is the name of a color, specifically, light blue. Whenever someone is referring to “cyan” in Among Us, they're talking about the spaceman that isn't the dark blue character. No one really uses the term “light blue” as it takes longer to type out, and speed is often rather important.

The Elden Ring Blaidd questline locations are found around Limgrave, Caria Manor and Caelid, but will take you further afield with other quests like Ranni's and the Elden Ring Sorceress Sellen questline. The Half-Wolf Blaidd offers one of the best questlines in Elden Ring, and at the end you'll get a Royal Greatsword and Blaidd's armor set, as well as the Wolf Mask so you can really cosplay as the big bad wolf. For that reason, we've put together all the Blaidd questline locations in Elden Ring below, with a full walkthrough, list of rewards, and even Blaidd's lore and backstory made clear!

Obviously spoilers ahead for Elden Ring generally, Blaidd's quest and regarding the character Ranni. You have been warned, Tarnished!

Blaidd is in specific locations depending on how far you are along his questline - as you complete his goals in one area, he'll move to another. Problem is that some of these goals are tied to story or boss progression, so players might accidentally trigger his quest and have him move unexpectedly without ever talking to him. Fortunately we've laid out every place he can get to in the (rough) order he heads to them, as well as his quest objectives below.

Small point, but make sure to exhaust his dialogue when speaking to him. This should be the case with all characters, but it applies here too - when talking to Blaidd or anyone, keep pressing "talk" until his dialogue starts repeating. When he starts saying the same thing over and over, then you can move on.

Once you kill Blaidd in the Three Sisters, he'll drop his Royal Greatsword, a powerful Colossal Sword that scales to Strength, Intelligence and Dexterity, as well as his armor. Blaidd's armor set is heavy but protective, and one of the better sets for those who build their characters a little tankier (not to mention it looks pretty cool).

The only piece missing is the Wolf Mask, which is found at Seluvis' Rise tower just South of Ranni's Rise. When approaching the entrance, jump onto the left wall and climb up to find the mask on a corpse.

For a further reward, players can go to Iji the Blacksmith at any point after Step 2 of the questline. He'll have added the Carian Filigreed Crest to his inventory for you to buy, a Talisman that reduces the FP cost of Ash of War arts by 25% (not a bad addition).

A quick summary of what's actually happening in the story, at least as far as we understand it: Blaidd the Half-Wolf is the servant of the powerful Witch Ranni in a very literal sense, in that he was either created to serve her, or at least divinely bound to her in some way - but is only supposed to be her servant to uphold the divine order. Ranni is supposed to be obeying the Greater Will, and Blaidd is supposed to help her - but Ranni has gone rogue, and that's complicating matters.

To start with Blaidd's out to kill a traitor named Darriwil, which appears to be a smaller pet project that doesn't matter in a larger sense, but Blaidd is also generally helping Ranni pursue her larger goal of subverting the laws of the world and claiming power for herself, rather than the Greater Will.

Therefore, ⇒ Total cost of fencing = cost of fencing per meter × total fencing. ⇒ Total cost of fencing = 18.50 × 1200.
