Mulan is a famous character belonging to the Disney Princesses and is inspired by the Chinese poem Mulan.

Fa Mulan is a princess who does not focus on marrying a prince. Mulan is a beautiful young woman who is brave, determined, strong, and self-sufficient. Despite belonging to Chinese culture, this princess does not fit -nor does she seek to do so- with the expectations of a young Chinese woman of her time: Mulan is not elegant but somewhat clumsy and childish, she is not discreet but haughty and very frank, nor is she she is not calm but quite the opposite, she is always ready for a bit of action.

During the first movie, Mulan, we can see a great change in the personality of this character, who at the beginning is frustrated and unsure of her ability to bring honor to her family. Towards the end, we can see how she matures and becomes the person she always wanted to be.

Mulan's story begins when she tries to save her father from certain death by pretending to be a man and taking his place in the war to fight the Huns.

Mulan is recognized as the Savior of China once the emperor is freed. She will share a romance with General Lin Shang, who will give her a medal of honor and a medal of honor.
