It's important that we pay taxes because not paying taxes prevents the government from allocating enough resources to cover the needs of society. We frequently hear that we do not like to pay taxes, of course we think that it is an unpleasant act to part with part of our income to comply with a tax obligation, but it is fundamental and essential to sustain over time a society that requests the protection of the state in the four fundamental rights that are; liberty, life, property and safety.
