In case of emergency or necessity, the trustee can take out co-ownership insurance on behalf of the co-owners' syndicate without prior approval at the general meeting. The latter can then cancel or modify this decision, during the next GA. It is therefore wise to bring about competition between insurers, and to produce several quotes!
