Gex is a platform based game that was released originally for the 3DO platform back in the year 1995. Ports of the game for Sega Saturn and PlayStation were then started by the Beam Software and then, another PC version was authorized by Microsoft and launched for Microsoft Windows. It is the first addition in the entire series of Gex video games and also presents the players to all titles, new characters and a TV-based version of Gecko in the voice of Dana Gould, the famous comedian.

Gex is a platform game that is mostly about side-scrolling. It follows the main character named; Gex who is an anthropomorphic gecko obsessed with television and wants to travel throughout the various media dimensions. The gameplay of the game is amazing as it has an original version in which the players get options to record their progress and start exactly from where they paused. All versions of this game make use of a password-protected system. The player can unlock all passwords or is allowed to save opportunity if he beats up a boa’s stage or finds video recordings concealed at some levels.

It can also be coiled in a shape like that of spring for bouncing off objects and enemies.

Gex is a casual and platform game that can be played very easily.
