Since Selling Sunset first hit our screens back in March 2019, fans of reality TV have been hooked on the lifestyles of high-flying real estate agents working at the prestigious The Oppenheim Group.
With all five series now on Netflix, as well as THAT reunion show, fans were over the moon to learn the show would getting another spin-off show, called Selling the OC.
After Selling the OC landed with eight brand new episodes in August 2022, Netflix have now confirmed the show has been renewed for two more series!
The Oppenheim Group expanded to Orange County in 2022, and now we are going to see all of the drama from the new office in Corona Del Mar as Selling the OC has been announced by Netflix.
Star of the show Jason Oppenheim, who split from dating co-star Chrishell Stause in 2021, wrote on Instagram at the time, saying: 'I am so excited for our new show, “Selling the OC,” about my Newport Beach office and its amazing agents! Thank you @netflix @lionsgatetv @adamdivello @skylerwakil for believing in me and what we have all created together with Selling Sunset.' (sic)
Netflix describe the show as: 'Hot new listing. A fresh set of realtors square off, competing to establish themselves at The Oppenheim Group’s second office on the Orange County coast. Will the pressure prove too much for these agents to handle? Selling The OC hails from the creator and executive producer of Selling Sunset.'
There sure is! In January 2023, Netflix confirmed Selling the OC had been renewed for two more series!
The Oppenheim Group's Jason Oppenheim announced the news on social media, writing on Instagram: 'Netflix just announced that Selling the OC will be back for two more seasons! Get ready for Selling the OC seasons 2 and 3 and Selling Sunset seasons 6 and 7. They like to keep me busy… here we go!'. (sic)
Series one of Selling the OC hit Netflix on Wednesday 24th August.
It hasn't yet been confirmed when series two and three will land.
There sure is! After a teaser trailer for Selling the OC dropped immediately after the series five Selling Sunset reunion show, a full official trailer for series one was released on 10th August.
The trailer shows more of the realtors, the properties, and of course even more of the drama. The official Selling The OC page shared the trailer and wrote: 'Jason & Brett have expanded to the Orange County - with some new faces & lavish listings & big personalities making waves.'
Sadly, there's not yet a trailer for series two.
The show features Jason Oppenheim himself, as well as Alexandra Hall, Austin Victoria and Brandi Marshall, who all appeared during the series four finale of Selling Sunset.
Agents Alexandra Jarvis, Alexandra Rose, Gio Helou, Kayla Cardona, Lauren Brito, Polly Brindle, Sean Palmieri, and Tyler Stanaland will also appear on Selling The OC.
Selling Sunset stars such as Mary Fitzgerald, Christine Quinn, Chrishell Stause, Davina Potratz, Maya Vander and newly married Heather El Moussa DON'T appear on the spin-off.
This is despite rumours that Heather had quit the Los Angeles office in order to help Jason out in Orange Country.
Just like Selling Sunset, spin-off show Selling the OC is available on streaming platform Netflix.
