The CPT Exam for June 2023 session application process is completed between 03 Feb to 03 March 2023. Now, the exam will be conducted between June 24 to June 30, 2023. The CPT is the first step towards qualifying for the Chartered Accountancy programme organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India. In this blog, we will know about the CPT exam dates, eligibility, exam pattern, etc.

The ICAI has announced CA Foundation 2023 exam date. As per the available information, candidates need to appear for the exam at the exam centre between June 24 to 30. Another important update is for the December session of the exam 2023. The registration process for the December session will begin on October 1st 2023.

The CA CPT Notification for June 2023 will be released soon. The notification will cover dates regarding the registration window, correction window, exam dates, and results for the June 2023 CA CPT Exam.

The notification for the 2023 exam dates is yet to be published by the ICAI. The officially confirmed dates of registration and examination etc will be announced on the ICAI website soon. Here are the tentative dates for the CA CPT June Exam 2023.

Admit cards are generally released 14 days before the examination and contain the details of the test centre, course, roll number etc. All the candidates are required to carry a hard copy of the admit card for the examination. The CA CPT is a Pen-Paper-Based Test (PBT) conducted offline at various exam centres decided by the organising body. The CA CPT is conducted in two different shifts over a weekend. The first shift starts from 10:30 am to 12:30 and the second shift is from 02:00 pm to 04:00 pm. The exam has four sections for which the candidates have to appear separately over different days or shifts.

All questions in this exam are multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer in the answer sheet is awarded 1 mark and for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. Given below is the pattern for the CA CPT Exam 2023.

The CA CPT Exam syllabus covers all possible aspects of exam questions. However, the candidates must note that the questions are designed to test the practical knowledge of the candidate in the given subjects and the questions will be structured accordingly. After the application window is closed, the candidates will be given a correction window of a few days. The correction window is open in two sessions, the corrections during the first session are free of charge and the corrections made in the second session of the correction window incur late fee charges.
