The candidate would be in the highest band if they got more than 36 points. The bands 0-4 are not included in the table because they are limited in their uses of the language.

40 questions of one point each are included in the reading part of the exam. You will have about 60 minutes to answer all the questions after the total is transferred to a scale of 9. Depending on the version you render, you will need to get a certain number of questions right to be in one gang or another.

The texts in the General Training of the IELTS do not include specialized vocabulary. To reach the same band, it is necessary to hit more questions. There are differences in the following tables.
