Denver has a variety of shopping centers, and the best part is that they’re as unique and varied as Denver itself. As a Colorado mom, I’ve visited plenty of these shopping centers to buy clothes for kids who constantly keep growing! I’ll help you figure out which of the malls in Denver will best suit your needs.

One unfortunate thing to note – because of the pandemic, and the economy as it is now, some stores that have been at these shopping malls are now closed. I’ve found that even the shopping mall websites can’t always keep up. If you’re headed to one of these shopping centers to visit a particular store, you may want to call and make sure they’re still open.

Ready? Let’s dig in to the best shopping malls in the Denver area!

Downtown Denver mall with trendy stores and food

📍 Google Maps | 🛒 Denver Pavilions Website | 📞 (303) 260-6001

The Denver Pavilions is smack in the heart of downtown Denver, off the 16th Street Mall, so it’s a convenient place to shop if you live or are visiting downtown. It includes stores popular in many shopping malls like Banana Republic, H&M, and Sephora. You’ll also find Lime Cantina, a Corner Bakery, and other places to eat.

The Glenarm Patio provides outdoor seating for several of the restaurants so you can enjoy a warm evening outside while you eat. It even makes our list of the best stuff to do in Denver.

Upscale shopping in tony Cherry Creek

📍 Google Maps | 🛒 Cherry Creek Shopping Center Website | 📞 (303) 388-3900

Cherry Creek Shopping Center has the stores you’ll find at many shopping malls, including Athleta, J.Crew, and LOFT. However, the Cherry Creek center also includes several designer stores like Hermès and Louis Vuitton.

The inside of the mall feels more like a retail resort than a traditional mall, and it includes several places to eat, from easy spots to grab a cocktail or great food to fine dining. Cherry Creek North is an outdoor mall with shops and places to eat across the street from the indoor mall.

👉 Pro Tip: Cherry Creek Shopping Center has a parking garage, but requires a fee. Guests who stay two hours or under pay $2, and a full-day pass costs $16.

A pedestrian mall in the heart of downtown Denver

📍 Google Maps | 🛒 16th Street Mall Website | 📞 (800) 233-6837

The 16th Street Mall features shops and dining options that stretch up and down the street in downtown Denver. It’s a fun place to stroll, window shop, and pop into a cafe for a cup of coffee at one of the Denver coffee shops lining it.

You can also easily walk to Denver sights like the Capitol Building, the Clocktower, and Larimer Square. A free shuttle can get you back up the street if you’re tired after your walk to the other end.

A Lone Tree Colorado-themed mall with a ton of popular brands

📍 Google Maps | 🛒 Park Meadows Website | 📞 (303) 792-2999

The first thing that strikes you on entering Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree is how very Colorado the decor is. The light fixtures could be in a cabin, murals depict mountains and wildlife, and the entire mall feels like a mountain lodge (oh, and there’s a fountain, of course). Although it’s a convenient mall for residents south of Denver, it’s big enough that it attracts customers from all over the Denver metropolitan area.

An outdoor mall in Lakewood with lots of activities in the plaza

📍 Google Maps | 🛒 Belmar Website | 📞 (303) 742-1555

Belmar is an outdoor shopping district with a movie theater, restaurants, shops, and planned events like yoga and live music on the central plaza. Target, Best Buy, and Dick’s Sporting Goods are big box anchor stores, but there are tons of adorable locally-owned boutiques and specialty shops.

An outdoor Littleton mall with a uniquely Colorado bookstore

📍 Google Maps | 🛒 Aspen Grove Website | 📞 (303) 794-0640

My favorite spot at Aspen Grove is the Tattered Cover, a Colorado bookstore chain that has books by local authors along with bestsellers and classics. This outdoor shopping mall also has chain stores like Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn. During summer, the mall hosts a farmers market in the parking lot, and other events as well.

A movie theater sits at one end, and there are concerts and other events at the shopping center as well.

An indoor Broomfield mall with plenty of stores

📍 Google Maps | 🛒 Flatiron Crossing Website | 📞 (720) 887-9900
