Answer
GRP is a resin-based composite that is reinforced with a glass fiber. This composite is made of two main components glass fiber and resin.
If the resin used in GRP is epoxy, then it will be named as GRE. If If the resin used in GRP is vinyl ester, then it will be named as GRVE. If the resin used in GRP is polyester, then it will be named as GRUP.
Epoxy, vinyl ester, and polyester are thermosetting resin. So the other name for GRP is reinforced thermosetting resin plastic (RTR or RTRP).
To conclude, GRE, GRVE, and GRUP are different types of GRP, and RTR is a different variation name of GRP.
GRP: Glass fiber-reinforced plastics
RTR: reinforced thermosetting resin plastic
GRE: glass-fibre-reinforced epoxy
GRVE: glass-fibre-reinforced vinyl ester
GRUP: glass-fibre-reinforced polyester
