In an interview with Money Control, Girish said he felt like an Indian athlete who won a gold medal at the Olympics. We are showing the world what a company from India can do.

Girish's parents separated when he was seven. The separation from him was a turning point in many aspects of his life and prepared him for his entrepreneurial journey.

He carries on the practice of independent decision making in his life as a father, as well as as anentrepreneur and mentor. When you make your own decisions, you learn to live with the consequences, and that's why I think parents shouldn't make all the decisions for their children.

Girish moved to Chennai in 1996 to do his masters degree in business administration from the University of Madras.

After graduating in 1998, he worked for a year at the ODC for HCL. Girish quit his job in the US in 2001 to start a training company in India, and taught JAVA while he was there. After becoming all the rage in 1999, he had to convince people that JAVA was still relevant.

Girish moved to the US in 2005 to work as the vice president of product management at ZO HO, which was later renamed AdventNet. The decade he worked at ZO HO gave him a new perspective on the opportunities presented in the software as a service industry. He had a bad experience with a company when he returned to India. Repeated calls and emails were not successful. The company sprang into action to correct the mistake after he left them a negative comment on the social networking site.

There is an opportunity to create a help desk. He had created several help desks as part of the ZOho management team. It was still new at the customer service help desk.

He said that the company is called Freshworks.

The company was co-founded by Girish and Shan Krishnasamy. The flagship product of the company became a turning point in the industry. A single product focused on customer service has grown into a company that offers a full suite of products to more than 50,000 customers. Tools for sales, marketing, IT service management, and human resources are included in these products.

The company was backed by a number of funds, including Tiger Global, Sequoia Capital and Accel.

Girish says that the company has had a Roger Bannister moment with its initial public offering. He was the first athlete to break the record for running a sub-four minute mile, and many other athletes did it.

He told the Economic Times that the Freshworks moment was similar to that. In the next few years, we will see more startup come out.

The IT services moment of the 1990s is what I think is the biggest thing to happen in India.

Freshworks has impressed customers with its products, but it has also made sure that its employees grow with it. In an interview with CNBC TV 18 this global India said that they don't believe in hiring people who believe in the same set of problems. We hire smart people and let them work at work.

We are willing to spend time building the people we want, the way we want them to be, rather than waiting for ready-made talent.
