The good news is that you can finally cancel your Peacock subscription outright. Formerly, back when free Peacock subscriptions were a thing, the way to stop paying for Peacock mostly revolves around plucking the Premium Peacock feather out of your account. Then, you still had a Peacock account — just one that isn't taking between $4.99 and $9.99 (or even less if you used a Peacock TV promo code) from you each month.

1. Log into PeacockTV.com and click your profile icon in the top right corner.

4. Next to your current Peacock plan, click "Change or Cancel Plan."

5. Click Cancel plan. If you're grandfathered into Peacock Free, your window may look different.

6. Select "Cotintue" to confirm.

7. Under the images of all the stuff that Peacock already tried to get you to watch, select "Cancel Plan." Never give into the 'begging' phase of account cancelation.
