High blood pressure and pregnancy isn’t necessarily a dangerous combination. But having hypertension during pregnancy requires special care, irrespective of whether you are diagnosed with this problem before or after conception.

High blood pressure, medically known as hypertension, means the force of the blood that pushes against the walls of your arteries is too high. Blood pressure readings of 140/90 mm Hg is considered too high.

While hypertension can affect anyone, pregnant women are at an increased risk. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an increasing number of pregnant women in the United States suffer from hypertension. In fact, according to the American Pregnancy Association, high blood pressure affects about 6 to 8 percent of pregnant women.

The following are updates to the A GP 8.0.

The Transform API is removed after A GP 8.0. All classes in the com.android.build.api.transform package are removed.

The transform is being removed to improve build performance.

A GP can use a less optimal build flow that can lead to large regressions in build times if projects use the Transform API. It's difficult to combine the transform and other functions. The goal of the replacement is to make it easier to extend AGP without introducing performance or build fix issues.

There are new and oriented APIs for each use case, and no single replacement for the Transform API.

All of these are available from A GP 7.2 onwards.

To transform the bytecode, use the InstrumentationAPI. For libraries, you can only register an instrument for local project classes. You can register an instrument for only local classes or all classes for tests.

The instrumentation runs independently on each class, with limited access to other classes on the classpath, to use this API. The restriction improves the performance of builds, and keeps the surface simple. The libraries are instrumented in parallel as soon as they are ready, rather than after the build is complete.

A change to a single class means that only the affected classes need to be re-instrumented. The AGP recipe How to transform classes withASM is an example of how to use the InstrumentationAPI.

You can add more classes to your app by using the Artifacts API.

Specifically use.

Adding additional directories to the project classes is done with Multiple Artifact.ALL_CLASSES_DIRS. The Artifacts API will pick a unique location for the output of your task. For an example of how to use the addToAll recipe, see it.

All classes can be transformed in a single task based on analysis of the program. This approach has a higher build performance cost than using the Instrumentation API.

The transform should be enabled per build type for the app developer to be able to disabled it for development builds.

The Artifacts.forScopeAPI is a new feature of the Gradle 7.4. To transform all classes in the current project, use Artifacts. The following code shows how to register a task that transforms all classes together.
