Should couples plan their future in detail or take things as they come?

We never planned too much. We just lived step by step, and still things worked. Sometimes overplanning kills the joy. For me, trust in partner is more important than perfect plans.

I believe in light planning. Having direction about kids, finances, and career is important. But planning every small detail may bring stress. Life is uncertain, so a mix of planning and flexibility is best.
