In my opinion, friends should not share everything. Privacy is still important. You can be close but still have your own space. Some secrets are only for yourself, and that’s healthy.

In my case, I am saver and my wife is spender. We decided to keep two accounts: joint account for bills and savings, and personal accounts for free spending. This way no judgment, no fight. It really helped us.
