The emperor of Rome was Augustus. I think this is correct. He was the very first emperor. The Bible says Augustus ordered a big census for everyone. This is the reason why Mary and Joseph must travel to Bethlehem. So yes, it was Augustus when Jesus was born. He was a very important and famous emperor. I hope this is a help for you.

Well, it is quite impossible for any of us here to know. The best advice is always the simplest. You must retrace your steps from the last time you remember using it.
