Defence civilian posts are less known but very good options for 12th pass students. They include administrative, clerical, and support staff roles. You don’t need to join Army as a soldier, you can still be part of Defence through civilian recruitment.

I know a friend who joined as a Railway Clerk after 12th pass. He and his family get free train travel passes once a year and discounted passes other times. It is a big advantage of railway jobs.
