When filling SBI joint account form, remember that SBI has slightly different versions of forms depending on state and branch. But all require the same info:- Applicant 1 and Applicant 2 details (name, DOB, address, occupation).- Mode of operation.- Specimen signatures.Also, both applicants must visit branch in person for verification. If one applicant is abroad, then attested documents from embassy are required. If you’re just opening a simple savings account with your spouse, it’s usually done in 1 hour. My suggestion: fill whatever you can at home, then complete tricky parts like operation mode at the bank counter with staff guidance. Saves time.
