This is such a beautiful question! As a Christian who's been on this journey for years, here's what has helped me deeply plant God's Word in my heart:
Daily immersion is key - I start each morning with just 15-20 minutes of Scripture reading. I don't rush through chapters, but really meditate on a few verses. Journaling what I read and how it applies to my life has been transformative.
Memorization techniques that work: - Write verses on index cards and place them where I'll see them often - Use the "first letter method" where you write the first letter of each word - Repeat verses aloud throughout the day
The most important part for me has been applying what I read. When I encounter a teaching, I ask: "How can I live this out today?" The Word becomes alive when it changes our actions and attitudes.
It's not about quantity but consistency and application. Even one verse properly planted can bear incredible fruit over time!
