Righto, iron is pretty much everywhere. Most of it we get is dug out of the ground. It’s inside special rocks called iron ores. The main ones are hematite and magnetite. Here in Australia, we have heaps of the stuff. Western Australia is a huge spot for it.

But it’s not just in the ground. Iron is also super important for our bodies. It's in our blood, helping move oxygen around. And, believe it or not, you can even find iron in meteorites that come from outer space. So yeah, it's all over the place.
