I prefer online things, so let me add: SBI also allows account opening process online through YONO app, though joint accounts usually require physical verification. Still, you can start online by filling details, generating reference number, and then submitting documents in branch. Saves time as half of the form gets pre-filled. Highly recommended if you are tech-savvy.
