A little linguistic note: In Hindi, "flour" does not always equal "aata." For example: - Corn flour is usually called makai starch or cornstarch in Hindi cooking, not "aata." - Maida (refined flour) is another form of flour. So, depending on context, "flour" could mean aata, maida, besan, chawal ka aata etc.
