That said VB.NET isn’t “bad.” It’s easier to read for beginners and still works well for maintaining legacy enterprise applications. If you’re starting fresh though C# is the smarter investment. Microsoft itself clearly prioritizes C# now: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/csharp/
