Technical jobs are better since promotions are faster. Army values technical skills, and salary increments are higher compared to GD entry.

Indian Customs jobs don’t have a separate exam for 12th pass. They are filled by SSC and other central government exams. So first focus on preparing SSC CHSL, and then you may be placed in the Customs department if selected.
