Yes, I think so. When GST rates are lower, there is more competition in the budget segment. Maruti will try to capture as many buyers as possible by launching more affordable models or cheaper variants. Maybe they can bring back an ultra-low-cost car like a rival to Tata Nano but with better design and safety.
